circle skirt pattern Amara

Amara is a pattern for a classic circle skirt, which can be pretty much anything depending on which of the 5 different lengths you sew it in and which material you use to sew it. From a sporty short skater skirt to a medium-length, wide, colorful summer skirt that you can wear a petticoat under for a real rockabilly style, to a glamorous long skirt for a grand entrance - Amara is always the right pattern.

Made from jersey or summer sweat and with a waistband made from ribbed fabric, the skirt can be made quickly and easily without a fastener, making it a great project with guaranteed success even for beginners.
If the skirt and waistband are made of woven fabric, it may be necessary to insert an elastic band. Or you can work a zipper into one of the existing or into an extra-cut side or back center seam

Suitable materials include:
Jersey, summer sweat, woven fabric cut 1 size larger and with zipper, light denim fabric.
