With the Malve pattern you get an extremely versatile tunic template that is perfect for colour blocking, but also for effectively presenting fabric panels.
It gives you the opportunity to make a tighter or looser, or even a very individual garment, depending on the fabric you choose, whether it is light or heavy. The pattern pieces allow you to sew a stylish, loose-fitting or figure-hugging blouse or tunic for the whole year.
It may seem complex, but it is doable for the more experienced seamstresses if you follow the instructions step by step, including the video, and pay attention to the numbering of the pieces.
The pattern includes three sleeve lengths, with the sleeveless version looking particularly summery thanks to the overlapping arm.
Suitable materials include:
Jersey in particular, but also light summer fabrics such as muslin, voile and similar have proven to be very suitable.
