Ariane is a loose-fitting shirt blouse with a polo closure.
It has a pleat at the front under the placket and a back pleat under the yoke. The shoulders are slightly overcut, giving the blouse a casual look! The blouse can be sewn in sizes 32-56 and is an all-rounder for the whole year.
The special thing about the blouse is the fold that starts under the polo button. But if you want to sew a blouse without folds, simply place the fold in the middle at the front and back. This is very easy to do.
The blouse can be sewn as a short normal blouse, as a slightly longer blouse with side slits or extended by another 15 to 20 cm and also as a blouse dress.
There are options for sewing a shirt collar or just a stand-up collar onto the neckline. The sleeve length is variable and can be made as a sleeve with cuffs and a simple slit, but also professionally with slit trim. For summer, you can choose either a short sleeve or a rolled-up sleeve with a tab.
All variations are included in the pattern.
Material suggestion:
The best materials to work with are slightly flowing fabrics such as viscose, silk, modal, cotton or blended fabrics or even fine corduroy.
In terms of color, the blouse can be worked well in contrasting fabric on the collar, cuffs, facings and yoke.

❓The QR code is not working
Some older paper sewing patterns may have a QR code that leads to an "Oops, something went wrong" page.
This is due to the shop relocation in 2024 , during which the old QR codes could not be transferred.
Don't worry: Under the article description for each pattern you will find the point "Look at the instructions" - all instructions are stored there.
