Alicia skirt with large pleated pocket

“Alicia” is a pattern for a simple but very effective skirt, in which the easy-to-sew, specially crafted, sophisticated, attached, large pocket is a real eye-catcher.
The bag goes over the right side seam to the hem and is folded in small pleats. The trick of the pleats changing direction at the front and back makes the bag look quite three-dimensional and dynamic.
The skirt can optionally be sewn without a pocket, which makes it a wonderful, rather simple skirt, suitable as a basic to go with a beautiful top.
The entire process is very simple and quick. All you have to do is sew the side seams on the skirt, add the pocket, fold over the top, insert the elastic and hem - and the skirt is ready...
